He led Barcelona to be a big power house of football again.In 2004, He was awarded Fifa World player of the year, becoming the fourth man from Brasil to win the award in a period of ten years.Interestingly, they all won their maiden awards with Fc Barcelona.One amazing thing is that their names begin with ‘R’ and ends with ‘O’.Ronaldinho helped them win the la liga title for the first time in as many years.He was awared the Fifa World Player.2006 was a year which saw Barcelona win 4 trophies including the la liga title, champions league, the Uefa super Cup and the Spanish super cup.In 2007, although with inclusions like Thierry Henry, the 2007/2008 campaign was far from reach as Barcelona at the end of the season finish 3rd on the league log.In that same year a new coach arrived and was full of praise for youngsters.His name Pep Guardiola, the second man behind the dream team.

When Guardiola arrived so many superstars like Ronaldinho, Deco, Giuly, Zambrotta, Lilian Thuram all left the club.The coming of Guardiola is like the coming of a new renaissance.Pep Guardiola arrived at Barcelona in 2008.With the exit of so many stars, many people concluded after the first league match loss.Many people said Barcelona won’t be a power house anymore.That was just the beginning.He won the La Liga title in style, defeating Real Madrid at their own Santiago Bernabeu by a whooping Six goals to two(6-2).He also won the champions league in style by defeating Manchester United at the famous Stadio Olympico.He won three trophies in addition to that including; Uefa Super Cup, Spanish Super Cup and above all lifting the Club World Cup defeating Estudiantes of Argentina by two goals to one(2-1).

He was named as the youngest manager to lift the Uefa Champions League trophy.He was also included in the list of people who have won the trophy as a player and as a coach, being at par with players such as Yohann Cruyff, Carlo Ancelotti and Frank Rijkaard among others.
